Focus and Scope

Jurnal Lemhannas RI (JLRI) focuses on building academic understanding of national resilience as a dynamic and multidisciplinary concept. The journal discusses key issues in development, society, economy, environment, ideology, politics, defence, and security. These issues are often complex and connected, so JLRI encourages integrated approaches that link different sectors and academic disciplines.

JLRI has received national accreditation at SINTA 2 level, based on Decree Number 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025, issued by the Directorate General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, on 21 March 2025 in Jakarta. The journal is published quarterly, with issues released in March, June, September and December.

JLRI provides a space for critical discussion about how resilience is defined, built, and applied at both national and international levels. The journal accepts articles from a variety of disciplines that support National Resilience framework, known as Asta Gatra, which includes Geography, Demography, Natural Resources, Ideology, Politics, Economics, Socio-Cultural issues, as well as Defense and Security.

JLRI welcomes three types of articles. Conceptual articles focus on explaining or clarifying key ideas. Theoretical papers apply or develop frameworks to understand specific issues. Empirical studies present research findings based on data. JLRI also discusses how resilience shapes public policy, government systems, and public involvement.
