Abstract

This study examines the role of Indonesian constitutional law in fostering national resilience amid evolving global challenges, including pandemics, climate change, and cyber threats. The research aims to analyze how the 1945 Constitution supports national resilience and to identify areas for improvement. Using a normative juridical approach, this study evaluates constitutional provisions, legislative frameworks, and judicial interpretations. The findings highlight the Constitution's strengths, including its emphasis on sovereignty, human rights, and governance. However, gaps remain, particularly in addressing emerging threats such as digital security and environmental sustainability. The study underscores the need for constitutional reforms to integrate preventive measures and clarify emergency powers. Drawing insights from international practices, this research proposes incorporating explicit provisions for cyber resilience and climate change adaptation. These reforms would enhance Indonesia’s legal framework, aligning it with global standards while addressing local vulnerabilities. The study contributes to academic and policy discourses by emphasizing constitutional law’s critical role in sustaining national resilience and recommending actionable strategies for its development.
